As a former teacher, I worked across various year groups and key stages. With the increasing pressures of the job, limited flexibility and a desire for a change, I began exploring new career opportunities. 

Finding a suitable role was challenging; after 8 years in teaching, I struggled to translate my teaching skills into corporate context. I wasn’t sure how my experience could align with industry expectations. 

I eventually found a role in an EdTech company where I was able to provide insights drawn from my firsthand teaching experience, helping them in ways they hadn’t anticipated. 

Since making this career switch, I have experienced a fulfilling work-life balance and the flexibility that I longed for all while utilising my background in education. 

I am now passionate about helping other teachers transition into roles where they can leverage their skills while still making an impact on education. This commitment inspired me to create teach2tech.
